Squalene, with an "E" is naturally produced by our bodies, but the amount made and retained decreases as we get older. Squalene is a lipid, or fat, made naturally by our oil glands to moisturize and maintain the barrier of our skin. It has also been found to fight free-radical damage in our skin as an antioxidant. 

Squalane with an "A" is a molecular match for the moisture that’s already a part of human skin, making it an incredibly effective bioidentical hydrator. It comes from 100% plant-based, renewable sugarcane, bio-fermented to create the beautiful highly stable natural Squalane Oil.

100% biofermented Squalane Oil from Sugarcane

Care Instructions

Apply a desired amount to face and neck. To lock in hydration and help ingredients penetrate more deeply into the skin, we recommend applying the serum while your skin is still damp after washing your face or using water based ingredients. Apply the Squalane Serum before thicker moisturizers such as creams or balms.

** Keep moisture out of container and store product away from heat and light. Best if used within 6 months from purchase.  

Although these products are made with natural ingredients, it is always wise to use care when trying a new body care product. Test on small area of skin before using all over body; if irritation develops, discontinue use. Keep products out of your eyes and please read ingredients carefully if you have allergies.

Aroma

No Essential Oils are used in this Serum. It has no aroma. 

  • WHO SHOULD USE IT?

    Squalane Oil is a very gentle and lightweight facial oil that will benefit most skin types, especially those with irritated skin, a damaged skin barrier or who cannot tolerate most oils or moisturizers. We recommend pairing it with a Hydrosol mist to help hydrate and balance the skin's pH.

  • WHO IT MAY NOT BE FOR:

    Squalane works well for sensitive or blemish prone skin and It is very unlikely to clog pores or cause irritation - However, we still encourage you to listen to your skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
