Zinc is a multi-beneficial mineral known for its various benefits to the skin, especially for the ability to reflect the light and form an immediate protective barrier upon application. Zinc has natural broad-spectrum protection against harmful free radicals caused by UVA and UVB rays and its soothing and protective abilities make it a sought after ingredient in the treatment of blemished and irritated skin and in the use of natural sun-protectant products.
Unrefined raw Shea Butter, known for its skin softening abilities, envelops cells in lasting moisture while its high tocopherol Vitamin E and phenolic compound cinnamic acid content help to inhibit oxidation and shield against UV radiation.
To magnify the protective factor of our Zinc Balm, we’ve included Squalane Oil and Sea Buckthorn CO2 Oil, a rich source of beta-carotene.
